Fall Festival with Cousins
We spent this morning with our cousins in Delaware at a fall festival in their town.

Daniel, James, Cloe and Luke decorate pumpkins
Macey getting her face painted
Down the street there is a house museum set with furniture from the 1800 and early 1900's. Behind the museum is an old local cabin where life in pioneer days was being explained. Daniel shows how children used to bring water for their mothers to do the wash.

This gentleman showed us how his family did the laundry when he was a boy, with this 1934 Maytag washing machine.
Maryland History Trip to St. Mary's
On Friday we left early in the morning to go to St. Mary's City for a homeschool day event being held there. We learned about early Maryland and American history in a hands on way.
