Some Family November Milestones

Sarah turns 15 while listening to her birthday song!

John hitting the last note but Sarah doesn't wait for him! :)

Opening cards and gifts

John Boy lost another tooth! He also has some more wiggly ones.

We told him soon all he will be able to eat is applesauce!!
He replied, "Oh, no I get a second chance"- meaning his permanent teeth.

God-given friendships!

At Mount Vernon, the home of Washington this past summer

S- In our Savior's sovereignty, you have been given another season of life. Watching you these past 15 years we've seen your sensitivity to Scriptures, your service to others and your sweet style shine as you've grown in grace.

A- Always aspire to go beyond the norm of a "teenager" and apply the Word in your heart. Actively seek and admire what is acceptable in the eyes of Christ.

R- Run the race faithfully and rise to the role you have as royal princess of a heavenly King. Remember the richest blessings come from a life that radiates the love of God.

A- Above all, abide in Christ and enjoy the abundant life in Him.

H- May you gain new heights in the holy calling you have in your heart. Have hope from seeing God work in history and faith in His hand as you start a new year!

Happy Birthday!

Weekend Highlights

Saturday evening we went to Dover, Delaware to hear one of our family's favorite singers, Charlie Zahm. (We happened to see a poster announcing it in the town square on our way home last week! :)) It was a night of beloved songs of Scotland, Ireland, Wales and America. I tried to load a movie clip of the "St. Brendan's Fair Isle" song but the computer isn't cooperating with me! :)
This afternoon (after church) we went the local nursing home to share music and the Word of God with the people. We have been coming to this home for 9 1/2 years now and we gotten to know many of the residents.
