Visiting With Hannah

After spending the day with our relatives, we stopped by the local hospital to see Hannah, a young lady with Chairi. The first time we met her was in September 2007 in New York. She was in the hospital the same time as John. She has now spent over two weeks in the hospital with some of the complications due to Chiari and other related conditions. Please pray that God would continue to give her His grace and strength as she goes through this trial. Her web site is here.

A Visit to "The City of Brotherly Love"

Friday, we went to Philadelphia to visit with dad's sister, her husband and their son. We had yummy lunch with them, and then headed out for a brisk walk to the Kimmel Theater to hear the Philadelphia Orchestra with Vadim Repin, the solo violinist.

We walked the streets to and from the concert. The weather was perfect and the flowers blooming gloriously!

On our way we passed the first hospital in the United States

We had a perfect seat with a great view of the orchestra

This is a video of the encore piece the soloist played. The video isn't of Philadelphia Orchestra but it is exactly how Mr. Repin played for us. Enjoy! :)

On our way back we stopped at a Italian pastry shop! mmmm.....

Baseball ~Stinnett Style!

This afternoon was so beautiful, the girls took a break from spring planting to play ball.

John Boy joined the fun- Run to home!!

We are glad to see the beauty of springtime everywhere now!

Many have asked us, how is John since his operations. He has had an amazing recovery and is such a determined little boy, blessed by God. John knows his limitations and is content to stay within them- but boy, can he run now!
"Hast thou not known? hast thou not heard, that the everlasting God, the Lord, the Creator of the ends of the earth, fainteth not neither is weary? there is no searching of His understanding. He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might He increaseth strength. Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall: But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint." Isaiah 40: 28-31
