Live Nativity

Saturday, we bundled up, packed our chairs, blankets and umbrellas (just in case) for our annual trip to Ridgely, Maryland to watch our friends, the King Family, participate in a Live Nativity with their animals. God held back the rain until they shouted the last "Merry Christmas". Then the rain came and everyone raced indoors for refreshments or to their cars!

Jen dressed in a multitute of layers sitting in her beach chair, waiting for the Christmas story to begin.

And the angel came in unto her, and said Hail, thou that art highly favoured, the Lord is with thee: blessed art thou among women. Luke 1:28 Betsy King had the honor of portraying Mary.

Some of the angels, one of which was Brigid King.

And Joseph also went up from Galilee, out of the city of Nazareth, into Judea, unto the city of David, which is called Bethlehem... And she brought forth her firstborn son, and wrapped him in swaddling clothes, and laid him in a manger; because there was no room for them at the inn. Luke 2:4;7

Julie and Helen were watching their sheep by night. And, lo the angel of the Lord came upon them, and the glory of the Lord shone round about them and they were sore afraid. Luke 2 :9

Donald and David King and a friend, of Orient are,
Bearing gifts we traverse afar...

Come they told me, pa rum pum pum pum
A new born King to see, pa rum pum pum pum.

O Come All Ye Faithful

Joyful and triumphant, O come ye,

O come ye to Bethlehem.

Come and behold Him,

Born the King of Angels;

O come, let us adore Him,

Christ the Lord.
