Getting Ready for Surgery
John had his pre-op Friday with our family doctor. Everything looked like a go for the operation. Today, he went to our local hospital for a CAT scan and Thursday he has another pre-op in New York the day before the surgery.
We appreciate all the prayers lifted up for John Boy and are grateful for the support. We rest assured Christ will carry John safely through this brain surgery. We ask prayers for the doctors as their hands work on him, a peaceful heart for John and our whole family and a successful operation. The surgery we are told will last about six hours.
John does not know fully what will be happening yet. We have just told him about the surgery tonight.
