Chestertown Tea Party
Memorial weekend was filled with lots of fun. We went to the Chestertown Tea Party, a family cook-out, raft race, swimming at the neighbors and boating on the river with cousins.

A colonial puppet show and songs

Good old Irish bag-pipes

We enjoyed watching the colonial dances on the streets

...it was so cute..

Learning how to make tea- this was before they dumped it over board!

Restin' by the roadside underneath the trees...

goodness how delicious eating Lapp cookies! :}

Sunday afternoon we plied in the car to cheer our cousins on in the annual raft-race on the Chester River. Here are some of the kids playing in the water. It was a great way to cool off because it was very hot!

Grandma and Macey watching from the river side

Best pals

Even Mark came for the fun!

The raft-and in case if you haven't noticed everyone wore matching red shirts for the occasion! :}

I've been following your blog since we have similar last names. Mine is "Sinnett", so I figured we must have some common ancestors somewhere! You have a beautiful family and I'm enjoying reading your posts.
