Heather's Update

Getting ready to walk out
Saying good-bye to her nurse

4:30pm- Heather has left the hospital and is on her way home!!!!
3:45pm- Signing release papers for Heather to go home!! Still may be a little while before they are out the door.
12 noon- Heather's oxygen level was 92. They want it to be higher so they put the nose oxygen back on. Everything else still seems pretty good right now.
Heather may be released from the hospital as soon as today! That is not confirmed information yet just what is being heard from the nurses. Last evening she was able to eat for the first time too. Even though she is off oxygen they have it near by just in case she needs it. She used it after she came out of the shower and after she had a coughing spell.

So glad to hear that she is home now. I knew she would get through it. Thank you to all who kept us informed. Let Heather know I am still thinking about her, and I hope she continues to feel better.

I haven't been by your blog in quite sometime. I was sorry to hear about your cousin's difficulty but praising the Lord that she was released! Blessings!

I just want to THANK EVERYONE !! Your prayers and support have been a "light" to us in our darkest hours. Heather is recovering at home. She has slight heart damage, pneumonia in the lower lobes of both of her lungs, and she is breathing at 92-93% oxygen. (the doctors feel that once the pneumonia clears up she will be at 100%) Thank you all again.

If you could PLEASE continue to keep Heather in your prayers as has a long rode of recovery yet still ahead of her.
